Dr Russell is awesome super caring and friendly saved my life from drugsPosted on Brandy TorkmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. For so long the rug was pulled out from me. No doctor would treat me like a human. This place actually treats you like a human and helps you be a functional member of society. These doctors will actually help you live in your own flesh and work with your financial situation. They are the doctors that I will see because I have medical PTSD. No other doctors have treated me so well and allow me to recover. Most doctors will try and force feed you 5 medicines that do not work instead of giving you 1 medication that will work but these doctors care and have hearts. Thanks for helping me feel better and functional.Posted on Adela BrownTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What is Medication Assisted Treatment?
Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Medications used in MAT are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and MAT programs are clinically driven and tailored to meet each patient’s needs. Our Suboxone Doctor is here to create personalized treatment plans for all patients.
Research shows that a combination of medication and therapy can successfully treat these disorders, and for some people struggling with addiction, MAT can help sustain recovery. MAT is also used to prevent or reduce opioid overdose.
MAT is primarily used for the treatment of addiction to opioids such as heroin and prescription pain relievers that contain opiates. The prescribed medication operates to normalize brain chemistry, block the euphoric effects of alcohol and opioids, relieve physiological cravings, and normalize body functions without the negative and euphoric effects of the substance used. This is used at Drug Rehab Centers and Suboxone Clinics alike.

What is Suboxone?
Suboxone is the brand name for a prescription medication that is designed to treat opioid addiction. Suboxone has two ingredients: the opioid buprenorphine and the medication naloxone. The combined effects of these two ingredients reduce cravings for addictive opioids such as heroin, codeine, fentanyl, and oxycodone. Suboxone must be prescribed at a Suboxone Clinic.
People who are undergoing treatment for opioid addiction usually take Suboxone to manage withdrawal while they detox from opioids. Afterwards, they often continue to use the medication to control cravings and withdrawal while they progress through therapy and rehab. Suboxone is not meant to be a cure for opioid addiction, but rather a helpful part of the recovery process.
In the United States, Suboxone is classified as a Schedule III controlled substance, a drug which has medical value yet also carries moderate risks for addiction. As a result, only a Suboxone Clinic that receives certification from the Department of Health and Human Services may prescribe Suboxone. The medication is manufactured as dissolvable films and tablets.

What are Subutex and Buprenorphine?
Buprenorphine is a medication approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat opioid use disorder (OUD) as a medication-assisted treatment (MAT). As with all medications used in MAT, buprenorphine should be prescribed as part of a comprehensive treatment plan that includes counseling and other behavioral therapies to provide patients with a whole-person approach.
Buprenorphine is the first medication to treat OUD that can be prescribed or dispensed in physician offices, significantly increasing access to treatment. The Drug Addiction Treatment Act of 2000 (DATA 2000), the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act (CARA) and the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act allows qualified practitioners to dispense or prescribe buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid use disorders (OUD) in settings other than opioid treatment programs (OTP), upon completion of specialized training.
Several federal laws and regulations permit physicians and other medical personal to administer medications approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of opioid use disorders (OUD) under special circumstances without a buprenorphine waiver.
